I'd forgotten all about Stepford Wives so will have to dust that one off and thanks for the suggestions about Harbor and Drummer Boy. For your next literary quest, how about a related topic: outsiders? My suggestions would be Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces" and Susskind's "Perfume".
