Writing the Lights Out 29

Like most of us, I’m a busy guy. I’ve got a full-time job. I’ve got a family. This means I have to be very organized with my time if I want to get my writing done. Scrivener First Impressions

P.T. Hylton · Aug 22, 2014 ·

Writing the Lights Out 27 – I bought a Mac this week, and quickly decided to try the writing software Scrivener.

2. The area for storing all your research material.
3. The way it lets you set up project goals (Project Targets) and daily goals (Session Targets).

Writing the Lights Out 25 –

I really liked this post by John L. Monk and this post by Kristine McKinley . I’m a giant productivity nerd, so I love hearing about how others are doing it. Inspired by their transparency, I thoughts I’d share a few techniques I have recently put in place to help my own productivity.

Three tips that have helped me become more productive of late:
1. Have a production calendar.
2. Overlap projects.
3. Plan for the worst.
